2 Tools, catch match scale !?

First I have a ztool created from a simple mesh imported from max. 2nd I created a ztool from within zbrush from a cylinder.

I import my first ztool, then attempt to append my 2nd tool via the subtools menu. BUT, my 2nd tool is (according to a rough estimate from ‘dist3d’), 500 times SMALLER than the first tool ??

Ive tried scaling it up via transpose but the appended tool is so damn small I cant get it big enough !

Why is my 2nd tool so small in comparison and how do I scale it so it matches the size of my first tool ?

THanks

you can go to.
tool>deformations>unify

the unify command will make sure that objects are the correct size to work within Zbrush. While scale doesn’t really matter to Zbrush too much, having an object either too big, or too small will create problems (as you can see).

If the object that you imported from Max is the correct scale for what you want to use it for, then apply the unify command to the new object. If the scale for your max object was arbitrary then apply the deformation to the max object.

Hope this helps.
