2 Issues - Mesh Exports won't merge UV's and zSpheres losing symettry randomly

I’ve got 2 separate issues happening in 4R6.

Whenever I export an OBJ, from either the Multi Map Exporter, or the Tool menu, the resulting
OBJ when opened in Maya has unwelded UV’s, even with Mrg on as normal.
Whatever is happening is affecting my map exports, the normal maps have hundreds of
seams on them giving it that ****ty quadded appearance.

Second issue - zSphere armatures seem to be randomly breaking symettry. I have not been able to pinpoint the cause
