2.5D and 3D printers...... and mesh.... and stuff....

Am I correct in the idea that these are not possible to print in a 3D printer? or do pixols have enough information to make it feasible?
If it is possible does that mean that it is possible to convert 2.5D info into a 3D mesh, or a… I dont know how to ask this… um… displacement map? or something?
If they have lighting and depth that seems to imply some amount of… well… “Z” right?

There is no problem printing 3d objects from zbrush. Get your mesh ready by decimating it with the free Plug in (decimation master) and get it down to under 500k polys. Then export it as an STL using the 3d expoter plug in. Anyone can print from that. Just make sure parts are not too thin and that the mesh is watertight without holes. Good luck, Sebastien

2.5D (pixols) only contains the data visible to the camera. As such, there is no back to what you see and it can’t be printed. But as mentioned above, 3D can certainly be sent out of ZBrush.
