I have some objects that work with posable symmetry and some that don’t. I have tested this on several machines all running R2. The object I import is in fact symmetrical, and I have tried building several VERY basic objects to test with. Normal symm works fine. When I smart resymm, I get full symmetry found. But when trying to activate posable symmetry, I receive 0% symmetry points found. Or a very small percentage which will not store a symm map. Any ideas? Thanks.
Have you tried creating a subD level or 2 and then creating the posable sym?
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I tried increasing the sub level in zbrush as well as XSI. But both result the same. I get a higher percentage of detected symmetry points. But very little.
no luck with your model, interestingly i can’t even get Poseable Symmetry working on the default Polysphere, seems she’s a bit fickle.
also can’t get this to work…hmmm… interesting.
Tried a unify, giving UVs, deforming, using different axis…still no luck.
R2 bug I guess? Aurick?
