Ztoon

My try on compositing in Zbrush. The front of the house is from a picture, which was projected on a plane. The plane was displaced for the windows and the door. The pic used is from a website with public domain images.
The other stuff is all Zbrush. I attached a second render which shows the geometry a bit better.

Hey, I really really like this!! Nice job!

wenna

Really cool. I like the aesthetic!

Ryan

If it is your first try in compositing with zbrush you did a great job. I wonder what the monster next to the tree is planning to do. lol Because, the kid looks scared or amazed by something. Very cool image!
Keep the good work!

Javi.

Nicely done cartoon work, and show-how. Erklaerbar. Do you have the link to the Image Resource Site handy? I could always use another one. 50.

Composing scene’s in Zbrush that involve complex geometry and with that the problem of perspective ,need a lot of planning…as with all 2 (.5) D programs !
I like the scene,it is simple and cartoonlike …but to create a realistic indoorscene with Zbrush, using perspective setting, is not something i would want to do !
As for your scene, yes it looks great, the hill in the background could use a bit of “blue” in its “green” to give it a sense of depht, some small clouds and version 2.5 of Zbrush to “pose” your character

jantim

I agree totally with Ryan!

Andreseloy

Many thanks for the replies.

Jantim, yeah its quite a pain to work in perspective. I had to cheat quite a bit. Expecially the Z shadows can do really strange things, i find myself battling with these quite often anyway…

Javi, once the monster arrives, the image will lose its innocence, thats for sure…

Its far from being perfect, but i think i can get away with it for now haha. I tried to add some more depth with a Zgrab in post, but i wasnt too happy with the results, so ill just leave it. Also tried to do clouds, but htey distracted too much from the rest of the image. Anyway thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks
E.

感觉不错~~好极了~~:D .beautiful

Erklaerbar: What a fun illustration! It reminds me a bit of Saltapiedra’s excellent work. Your work is so colorful. I’m jealous because I can never come up with a wide pallette that works for me. The simple style for your characters is attractive also.

I can’t wait to see more…

Dickie

many thanks Dickie, glad you like it. I have seen Saltapiedra’s latest work, that just left me speechless:eek: . So i take your post as a real compliment:D

Cheers
