Ztl from older version of zbrush into 4R7 problem

Hi,

When I had 4r6 I didn’t have any issues of importing the ZTL file by Nick Zuccarello into zbrush. But recently when I tried to used the tool in my upgraded 4R7, the import either crashes zbrush or the model gets all messed up. Like below,

I think it has something to do with the ztl from earlier version of zbrush because the base mesh ztol was made back in 2008 or 2009, so I guess 4r7 can’t import old versions of ztol? (but I was able to import them like 2 months ago in 4r7 so it doesn’t make sense)

Also tried it on my desktop and the same issue occurred and I get error such as “internal error” or “out of virtual memory”.

It appears you’ve missed a patch or three. No guarantee that will solve the issue.

Hi, what patches are you talking about? Is there an update or something?

The latest version is P3 :

But that doesn’t solve the problem you are having. It’s a known issue but currently the only solution is to open in 4R6 and re-save. The file will then open OK in 4R7.

I installed the patch but the issue persists. Anyone else able to import into 4R7?

I thought it’s probably because it’s 4R7. I’ll have to see if it can be fixed after I reinstall 4R6. :frowning: But I’m still curious to know if anyone can import it in 4R7.
