Zspheres perplexity

As you see, In Edit Mode I have not the control of the form !
If I make an adaptative skin I obtain the same result (last drawing) and I can have now any sphere control (it’s an other object) !
What I missed ? No more Zspheres ?
In the last theads http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=009772
Zbrushers speak of “attractor sphere” +“magnet” + “strengh” (regulate the flattering ?)
What is ? (different than my schema ?
Some explanation necessary  with some drawings
I am not a speed brain
Thanks by advance !
Pilou
Ps I have the 1.55 Demo and have reading the “Understanding adaptative skins” in the Demo Tutorial

Hi Frenchy,

I don’t think you can flatten the sides of the cylinders, only the spheres?..
Hmm, I’m sure there will be more explanations on this in the future.

I’m not too sure but which sphere did you create first?
Try adding an attractor to the other sphere to see how it is affected, it could be that the root sphere is not closed.
From your first stage add an attractor instead of turning sphere 3 into one.
This may or may not help.

Hi Mik
I create Zspheres Left to the Right
And don’t close the root

Try this:

Hum hum Mik
Thx for try to help me  And thx for the drawing !
Why killed the third Sphere ? I have loved it
It’s seems artificial

You right Closing root seems the key !
But I wait confirmation by another guru
And I shall read and read again the tutorial
And the regulate of the flattering ?

Another question ! How move easly the sphere “attractor” on his Axe to the exact opposite side for input inside a parent sphere ?
Pilou

You may find that it works better to add additional spheres to the end, or move the ones that you already have:

To make the chain longer, add a child to it and pull the child away from the parent.

To flatten out the end or pull it back into itself, add a sphere and move it back into its parent so that it becomes a dimple.

Attractor spheres should be used to the sides, and generally in the middle of a chain.

Hope this helps!

Thx Aurick
I shall cogitate this strange attractor
