ZSphere Male Character

Hello all,

I started this study today. I have always been interested in the capabilities of zspheres. I made the basic zsphere model and I have now started to sculpt the main torso. Lots and lots to do. I’m no sculptor but would really love to develop my skills in this area.

Cheers for looking.torso1.jpg

Hey man, this is looking real good so far. You seem to be sculpting just fine, it just takes a lot of practice, persistance, and patience. Just always revert back to reference when places are unclear. Keep it up! :+1:

I have started to Work on the head of this model. Still learning a lot about zbrush as I go. I’m having a lot of fun with zspheres. If only there were more hours in the day!super-render.jpg

Hmmm. Muscles - The steel jaw - The stray locks of hair hanging down on the forehead. This guy is starting to look like a bit like a mature man of steel. Yes, no? Maybe?

I really don’t know what you mean! lol. Yeah he was getting a tad ‘Superman’ so I thought I would set myself a little challenge and go for it. This is what I have so far.

Cheers

It is Superman - and does he look pissed! Zoicks! LOL
One thing I’m noticing on the hair at the moment; It looks a bit like a helmet; Too flat and a bit too even around the front of the skull. It doesn’t seem to be coming out of his scalp. Also, the curls in front look seperate from the rest of the hair.

I noticed the hair line being a bit funky too. It’s because of the way I masked that area off. I’ll eventually go over it when I get a moment.

that torso is looking good…and for superman…apart from all the ears might need some more attention…and also watch out the neck muscles…

keep it up…!!!:+1:

Cheers for the comments mate. I’ve still got a lot to learn and lots more work to do on this model. :+1:

This (angry) lol. superman is looking really good Minty.

BTW, Is this the same “Minty” from the Renderosity C4D Forum. If so, hi from LMcLean, I also use Cinema 4D and was wondering do you ever create your UV maps in ZBrush and bring them it into Cinema 4D or do you do all of you UV maps in Bodypaint? I am just curious if creating UV’s in ZB and then importing them into Cinema 4D has worked for you?
