ZScript Commands as Clips for TextPad 5.0

Is there anyone interested in a collection of files that embed all the ZScript commands as clips in TextPad 5.0? I took the time this week to put the collection together and I wondered if others might like to use it. You can look at a drop-down menu to see all the available commands (with descriptions) and then double-click on the desired command to automatically paste in the code block. It works well with the syntax files provided by Game Master 770 found here:

See image for workflow using the clips.

I am not a ZScripter, but I am interested in learning and I thought this would be a useful tool to help me get started.

If anyone has an interest, let me know and I can find a host to share the file.

Captain Cartesian,

Many thanks for your suggestion, I’m sure there will be some people who will find this very useful. How big is the file? If possible it would be best to upload it here.

As I am new to the forum, I didn’t realize I could upload the file here. That’s great! Here is the .zip file. A Read Me.txt is included.

I would love to know if it is helpful to anyone. I love ZBrush and want to contribute to the community however I can.

Thank you very much. It seems like an excellent way of keeping the zscript commands at one’s fingertips (as well as simplifying using all those commas!).

I hope you will post any questions you have about zscripting in this forum (there aren’t a great number of zscripters but they are generous with their suggestions). And we look forward to seeing any zscripts/plugins that you care to share.

I noticed that there was an ID error in one of the .TCL files that was causing it to be excluded from the menu in TextPad. I have corrected the problem and apologize for the mistake.

Here’s the corrected files…just overwrite the previous versions.

Captain Cartesian

Thanks Cap.
