Zremesher

Hello All

I am new at zbrush , my job is just re-touch human scans. So i am manually giving the details of human scanning and cleaning them up. My question is about zremesher. I need to make new topology for touch softly to mesh. I have a human scan and i am zremeshing. My problem is when i click to all part of human and zremesh all , it loses a lot of detail.

Hi Menova.

Please read the following doc about transferring detail:

http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/topology/zremesher/transferring-detail/

There are a couple different methods for doing this. But the general idea is that you use Zremesher to remesh a lower poly version of your current model with better topology, then subdivide, and project the high resolution detail from the original onto the new mesh. Then you’ll have a much more manageable variable subd object with better geometry which will be useful in many ways.
