Zremesher noob question 2

Hello, I am noob studying zbrush with the book.
My problem is that, after applying Zremesher, some lines in polyframe aren’t straight, but they got bent.

For example,

Following photo shows lines before applying Zremesher:

Follwing photo shows lines after applying Zremesher (Target polygons count was “2” when applying) :

You see from above image that, in many red colored circled spots which I drew, there exist lots of lines have been bent, rather than being straight.

Why is that? How can I make them straight?

I don’t have a definite answer, I’m wondering if perhaps it has to do with symmetry and the size of your model in ZBrush? Perhaps it’s very large or small. Can you have a look in tool:geometry:size and see how big it is? ZBrush likes objects to be somewhere around 2 units in size. If yours is tiny or giant you can use tool:deformation:unify to resize it and try again.

To fix the problem quickly try holding down shift, press down your pen and then let go of the shift key to get a relax algorithm. That might straighten the bends while keeping your volume. If not, try zmodeller vertex slide.

I would just slide the problem verts. Or you could experiment with ZRemesher a bit more, opting to keep the poly count the same and seeing if helps.

also no answer,
but maybe you export your model into another application?
in maya you could study the mesh more in detail, if there are double vertices.
and then try to reimport it maybe…

was a workaround I tried once

and try what happens if you apply “relax” to that strange parts
