I used zremesher for topology of a mesh to get square polygons for micromesh and when i use micromesh it gets messy
Clarification: did you use Micromesh, or Nanomesh? In the case of the former, I recommend using Nanomesh. It has many more options for fine tuning and control.
There are always going to be some complications with polys that arent uniformely shaped.
I used micromesh … can i transform nanomesh into geometry ? or just for rendering ??
Nanomesh instances can be converted into real geometry, and you see the instances in real time, not just rendertime. In addition, there are many options for tweaking the position/scale/rotation/alignment, etc.
The irregular topology on your cut-out sphere is going to be problematic though. It may be more effective to generate the instances on a sphere with much more uniform topology, and then cut away the portions of the “ring mesh” that you don’t want.
