i remember metareyes but i don’t remember shots like these. Wow. yah…i don’t think computers or the max tech could maybe handle it back then. Also it was a plugin you had to buy for max and pricey…never caught on
Sooo this was like Zspheres 2 with boxes instead of spheres?
Yeah using ZSpheres 2 reminded me of the old days with Metareyes, just put in a brush and a whole lot quicker. But we all know that ZB is considered a MetaBall engine in some respects anyway. What led me to ZB is I was looking for something similar to Metareyes, I got results for Renderman and ZB 1.xx.
As well, Organica also did this same things but with a variety of shapes. Old tech with great new hardware.
