Zoomed in mesh occupying canvas background

New Zbrush user here, love its robustness and how easy it is to find quick tips, great tutorials etc.

I have run into a weird problem here, - I was working on a small part of a subtool (mesh) & thenall of a sudden that mesh seemed to get blown up huge, and occupy the background of the canvas. It is not possible to rotate around it or anything. I attach a video, - any help on how to get rid of it would be great!

Somehow or another you exited 3d edit mode, and dropped your active 3d tool to the 2.5 d canvas, which converts it to pixols rather than a live 3d mesh.

In any event, simply clear the canvas (ctrl+n) or Layer > Clear, and re-enter edit mode (t).

I wrote a lengthy explanation of this in another post you can read here for more info.

Thank you Scott, I will try this if it happens again in the future!
