ZModeler problem??

Hello support forum.
I face a problem when I try use an function with Zmodeler. For example when i try to bevel , inset . extrude e.t.c. a polygon the whole geometry of the mesh is being slightly modified. I attach some picture to see what i mean

thanks a lot!!

Can you include the model? Or at least the fragment that appears in the screenshot.

Thanks a lot for you reply. I attach 2 ztl files.
The file named joint.ztl is the original tool that I created alone.
The file named mech hand base 2.ztl is where I imported the joint.ztl tool as a part of mech hand (it is stil very raw  ).

In the joint.ztl the Zmodeler behaves correct. But in the mech hand base 2.ztl I have the problem reported before

The subtool is too small and it could affect the accuracy of Zbrush. If re sized to be bigger it will avoid the problem (tested).
But even changing the scale can solve the problem it seems to me a rather malfunction of the zmodeler. The scale of you model is nearly logic for what is a small part of the hand.
In some way also the changes of proportions that is creating your problem don’t affect anything really visible and you could simply ignore it. Once that you create the first inset stops modifying further the geometry in other insets, I mean it is not incremental and you simply get a tiny geometric change.

Thanks a lot for your replay and for your time.
Probably is Zmodeler’s bug or something like that.
I will increase the size of the subtools.

Thanks again!

i’ve been having a similar problem when using Crease through Zmodeler, i could click on one edge to undo a crease and it would uncrease parts of my model that i didn’t have selected. restarting zbrush seemed to be the only solution so far.
