Zmodeler point snaps works for both points

Hi, I would like to ask about Zmodeler Point Move.
I tried to snap from one point to another, And In the picture, point in pink polygon moving towards to point in green polygon.
My assumption was only point in pink move, But green point also moved towards pink point.
Is there a way to keep green point position as it is?

Hi @katosaori

Your Draw Size is probably too big. It will affect any points under the cursor. If your Target is “By Brush Radius”, turn your Draw Size to 1. If you want to weld 2 points together, then “Stitch” (see image) might be easier because it’s not dependant on Draw Size. With Stitch selected, you just click on the first point then the second point.

Thank you very much for the advice,
I would like to keep each points separated.
I learned “move points” also merges points after I made this question. If there are way to move to same place with both points separated. Thank you.

It might look that way, but I don’t think that they actually do weld together. Vertex snapping will make them occupy the same space and even with a Draw Size of 1, they will both move at the same time. If you go to “Preferences > Edit” and move “Snap To Vertex” slider to 0, then move the points far enough, you will find that they will pull apart. The problem though, is that coincident vertices often cause smoothing problems when the model is rendered, and can cause errors when exported to other applications.

Thank you very much I did not know ”Snap To Vertex”,
In my case, I could not separate vert even used mask and move.
maybe missing something.

And also could not stitch verts in two separate surface objects like in picture.
I would like to ask it too If you know how. Thank you.

try zooming in closer.

vertex move

You would have to remove the end caps first. Vertices that share more than two polygons cannot be stitched together.
