ZModeler Edge Bridge Issue/Question

I am trying to close the hole/area up on this sub tool. I tried to use the curve bridge in the first few images but it didn’t close once it detected the edge. I used the ZModeler brush to bridge the edges but they need to be curved/convex to match the original edge of the object. I applied poly loops(not shown in these images) to have six(6) polys on each bridged edge to match the already existing edges before the opened area. But I can’t seem to get the edges a little more convex to match the existing edge. I tried to use move + shift(align), pulling each corner of each poly to match the original edge, but that is not a practical way to do it. Simply going to Modify Topology and closing holes doesn’t do the trick either because even though it does close the hole, it still has a dip in it and is not precise with the original edge. :confused:small_orange_diamond:cry:

Help as soon as possible is much appreciated. Thanks!

Dupe your mesh
Rotate so it would close the hole
Delete extra faces
Merge with weld turned on

Is there anyway I could duplicate it then mirror it so its perfectly flipped? Because if I rotate it, I would have to line it up just right so its not off from the original. Much thanks!

Yeah man its not working. I tried rotating it the exact opposite way but I just can’t get it. It won’t snap to the opposite view right. When i press shift to snap it to the opposite side after I rotate it, it snaps at a weird angle, not too sure why :frowning:

rotate it 90°, release, rotate the remaining 90°. Using the transpose line for 180° rotations flips the mesh for some reason.

If your mesh’s center is the center of that cylinder you can just use deformers as well.
