Hi
This ZList ZScript allows you to store your favorite Materials, Textures, Alphas and 3D
Tools in an easily accessible list(s) which, by default, may contain up to 400 items.
Each added item will have its thumbnail automatically created. You may create ZLists
containing a variety of resources or create lists that are type-specific and switch
between these lists as needed.
Click here to download the ZList ZScript
The zip file contains the ZList folder which is less than 130KB in size.
The ZList folder should be placed within your ZScript folder for easy access.
Publishing your ZList is very easy, all you need to do is to “zip” the ZList folder
and it is ready to be published! ( the ZList folder contains all the necessary files
to run properly on other systems)
ZList can not be used in the Demo version as it requires functions (Save/Export) which are disabled in the Demo. Demo users may want to download the MaterialPack ZScript (most features will work properly in the Demo version) from this thread.
After placing the ZList folder within your ZScript folder, launch ZBrush and load
the ZList .txt ZScript, then press the “ZList HELP” button to learn about this ZScript.
Notes:
This ZScript allows you to control the orientation of the 3D object in its automatically-generated thumbnail. To control the orientation, draw the 3D object in the canvas, enter EDIT or TRANSFORM mode and rotate the object. When ready, press the “Store 3D TOOL” button in the ZScript panel and the generated icon will be created with the same orientation.
Retrieving a 3D Tool from the ZList while already having another 3D tool in EDIT or TRANSFORM mode will cause the ZScript to automatically replace the currently active object in the canvas with the one retrieved from the ZList (both object will be available in the tool palette). Furthermore, the orientation, position and scaling of the retrieved object will be the same as the previously active object and it will still be in the same TRANSFORM or EDIT mode.
Have fun ZBrushing
