I can probably guess that photoshop and KPT Filters are old hat to most of you, but I just got em 
But instead of using the filters on my images in Photoshop I used the photoshop filters in Zbrush. There is a thingy called “smoothie” that I found makes a wonderful black and white mask for an alpha. This is my experiment using Ed the Atom’s new tool

nice pic digits but can you explain how? you were able to use photoshops filters in zbrush or did you place a zbrush pic into photoshop and then use the filters… im confused please help the doc… thanks

Thanks guys, just expermenting with new toy. Doc, if you have KPT5 it has a smoothie filter, which is a edge filter on steroids. I used it for a couple of layers in this image to create a black and white outline mask. I then imported this mask into Zbrush and used it on a 3D Plane to add some depth to the texture. No rocket science, just a nice tool for the right occasion.
Dom, you get one dot for every 100 good posts that you make, and they take away one dot for every bad post. I used to have about 25 dots but you know how it is
