ZBrushs Best SideKick?

Hey,

I am a huge fan of ZBrush, and just love everything about it.
But i am also very infatuated with animation.
So i was hoping to take ZBrush Objects and import them into
another program for animation and such.

All the questions below, please note that Price does not
matter to me at all.
So my question is…

What is ZBrushs Best SideKick?
What would be the best program to purchase that will work with ZBrush
and for a noob that has some knowledge of Frames/Animation?

I know there is Maya,Poser, and such, but i heard Maya has a very
large learning curve.Would Maya be my best even though it
would take a long time to learn,or should a noob like me start with
a program like Poser?

If someone can lead me in the right direction it would be
greatly appreciated…Also keep in mind that price doesn’t
matter to me at all.

Thanks in advance!

This really is a very bad question to ask because there aren’t too many users who have the experience with multiple animation packages to be able to fairly compare them. I recommend that you investigate the features lists for the major applications, and also download any demos that they might have. It also can’t hurt to go down to your local Barnes & Noble or other large book store and spend a little time perusing the books that are available for the various programs. You’ll quickly start to get a feel for the one that most appeals to you.

Good choices to begin your research are Maya, Cinema 4D, LightWave, Softimage|XSI, Messiah, and 3D Studio Max. I’m sure other users can add a few more names to the list, too.

almost all of them have trial versions these days…download em and test drive em to death…i recommend downloading a few tutorials fro each first and reading em before getting them tho because some of them are time restricted so it’s best to get a handle on the basic way they work before ya start.

try blender…it’s free and has a lot of the features the big dogs do and see if it’s something you even wanna bother with first.

they all have good and bad points…what you like and what you can live with depends on what your intentions for their use are. researching yourself is the best way to go…getting 5 replies saying get this one and ya get it and find out it doesn’t do what you wanted it too is gonna suck.

Yea, that all makes since…
I purchased Poser 5 and it looks really cool.
I also purchased Maya.
I think i am going to try Poser for a while since i used it for like
5 minutes and made a pretty cool animation.
Thanks for the tips and i will try Blender also.
Thanks
