ZBrushCore Export

I have a ZBrushCore file with 2 sub-tools (One, the model, and Two, a cylinder which acts as a plinth). The sub-tools are merged. I’m exporting the file to use the geometry in another application.

The problem is that when I get it into the other application and convert the mesh into a T-spline, it breaks it into two T-splines (the first T-spline, the model, and the second T-spline, the cylinder). Is there a way to export the model from ZBrushCore so that it maintains one unified piece of geometry in this situation?

If this is not possible, is there a way to extrude a precise cylinder from a piece of geometry? The end result being that there is only one sub-tool in the file? That would solve my problem of creating the plinth also.

Thanks.

You could use Dynamesh and pull the cylinder out, dynameshing to redistribute the flow of polys. Depending on the amount of fine detail on your object, you might need to set the Dynamesh resolution up high so as not to lose details. I would be inclined to duplicate the object first and experiment on that just in case.
