zbrushcore - brush size shortcut and plugin not working ?

Hi,

Just installed zbrushcore, and having a quick wiz around the interface to compare to zbrush (I have zbrush for my home machine, and am installing zbrushcore onto 6 computers at the 3D printing research lab I run)…

Everything seems pretty great (relieved to find that backface masking is available, shame that decimation isnt, however I am hoping the export for 3D printing function is efficient).

However…

The brush increase/derease shortcut doesnt work, [ and ] dont effect the size, I found the plugin in the dropdown menu but no amount of clicking seems to active it…any suggestions? I am running zbrush on mac os sierra 10.12.1

Re-assign the hotkeys like this:

  1. Cmd+Alt+click on the <<Brush button and then press the [ key.
  2. Cmd+Alt+click on the Brush>> button and then press the ] key.
  3. Press the Preferences>Hotkeys>Store button.

The hotkeys should now work OK.

It doesn’t work, it says it assigned them but when I use the [ and ] but the brush size doesn’t change. :confused:

Could it be something to do with having a mac UK keyboard?

When I look in the hotkeys start up folder it doesn’t appear there either (and yes I did click pref save hot keys)…

You need to press the Store button in Preferences>Hotkeys. And the file they are saved to is in the Users/Shared/ZBrushCoreData/ZStartup/Hotkeys folder, not the file where Core is installed.

UK keyboard shouldn’t be a problem.

is there a delete hidden function in zbrush core? been hunting but cant find it.
