In ZBrushCore when I’m PolyPainting how do I apply a branding label or decal. I have a custom Beer Bottle label as a PNG with transparency and I want to apply it to my colored Bottle. Please see attached pictures showing a rendering I did of the same part in another program (AutoDesk Fusion 360)
You need to import the image you want to use into the Texture palette. The image should be square, otherwise it will distort.
Select the Paint brush from the Brush palette and switch the stroke type to the DragRect stroke in the Stroke palette. Set the Focal Shift in the Draw palette (or in the middle belwo Draw Size on the interface) to -100. Select the image you imported in the Texture palette.
You can now draw out the image on your model. Click and drag vertically upwards. You may find it useful to turn on the grid for the relevant axis to act as a guide. For example, in the Draw palette, the Floor button has little x, y & z. Click a letter to show the grid on that axis, so for front-back you would just have the z axis on. You can then use the Elv slider (Elevation) to the right of the floor button to move the grid in front of your model.
