I want open Zbrush 4r7 files from work at home with ZbrushCore. Before I purchase ZbrushCore, will ZBrush 4r7 .ztl’s open with ZbrsuhCore?

No. ZBrushCore will only open ZBrushCore files. And you will have to wait until ZBrush 4R8 before ZBrush will open ZBrushCore files.
