ZBrushCentral

ZBrush3 Main Forum

Lets start a new area for posting only Zbrush 3 related topicsBokkie_1h20.jpg

With areas for:
Problems in ZBrush 3
Tutorial for ZBrush 3
Scripst for ZBrush 3
Video Tutorial for ZBrush 3

All Nicely sorted

The Idea is to sort things out a little.
So many times have I read threads that are not ZBrush 3 related when I was looking for selutions in ZB3.
By putting thing under a ZB3 Main Forum/Thread with threads under that.
Covering Tutorials ext.
That way we know we are only dealing with ZB3. no old stuff.

All I want to know is how many of you agree with this Idea?
a :+1: if you like it or a :-1: if you dont.

Greetings

all this thread has an oficial part in the forum, yet

Nice model.

hmmm…back in the early days of this forum, it was pretty much a zbrush purist arena. Now that zbrush is truly coming into the forefront and being used by people in the movie industries etc, the forum now obviously allows for other apps. I agree, alot of the times the viewer doesn’t know where the zbrush work begins and or ends in alot of threads. Zbrush is in the pipleline of making such images somewhere…

One way to differentiate(sp?) zbrush3 threads from zbrush2 threads is to look at the dates of the original post. Other than beta threads, most zbrush2 threads will be dated May 16th or earlier, I would say. LOL and be careful of the year…

And I am talking about Windows users, not particularly the Mac users since there isn’t a Mac version out yet…(hang in there guys)

Z3 has only been out around 2 weeks or so… ?

Though I am personally feeling like a newbie again with the almighty new z3, most of what we learned with Z2 and prior, is still valuable info and great reference materials.

Have I rambled enough yet

Not against your ideas, they do have some merit, but the forum gets cluttered enough, and confusing sometimes I am sure for casual visitors. Look at the sticky threads on the main forum. Aurick, super moderator, outlines posting guidelines.

take care,

heheh. yeah this forum needs some subsections badly.
Silo which is a tiny little app (sorta) compared to zb has a billion forum sections to cover everything from issues in the app, tutorials, wip’s, feedback and so on…all this means that you know EXACTLY where to look to get info.
here its a bit like going fishing, you just dangle your hook in the rush of posts and hope that you get what you need.
Content on this site rocks, organisation however sucks :td:
