zbrush2 Download?

hi all,

I have been away from the world of Zbrush for quite some time and am comming back as I have been wanting to see what Pixologic has done at siggraph! With that being said I see that the new features seem to be for Zbrush2.5 and not for Zbrush2. Have I missed a download somewhere? I have been waiting for the free download of Zbrush2 for 1.5 users as I really want to get my hands on the topology brush. If this has been put out for download somewhere can you guys point me to where as I dont see ver2 or the topology brush on Downloads Center.

Zbrush 2.0 is a different verions, as in you have to buy it.

What’s this about a topology brush? You sure you’re not thinking of Silo? (Or maybe one of the features that’s supposed to be in ZBrush 2.5…)

2.0 is the current version. 2.5 is an upgrade coming soon.

That’s not correct Freakish, if Colmite can prove that he bought 1.55 (or 1.23) then he shall certainly be able to obtain the upgrade to 2.0 and subsequently the upgrade to 2.5 without paying anything more.

Pixologics generosity is an inspiration to anyone who stops for a moment to think about it.

thanks all for the replies and answers. I think you are right as I remember using the demo of 1.55 and perhaps it was 2.0 that I actually purchased as I remember 2.0 came out and it was several months before the release of 2.0 for MAC. I remember buying 2.0 specifically because of the free upgrade to the next point release and they were showing the new features of the point release which started as 3 video’s.

1 happened to be a topology brush, or something similar to what is being offered in Silo. another one dealt with (for lack of a better description) a bones structure that could be placed inside mesh and deform it.

its been a while since seeing these videos. Perhaps these features will be part of the 2.5 release. I will pull up my purchase info and get in touch with support. I just thought this feature would have been released along with the others under the road to Zbrush 2.5 like Zapplink and ZScetchpad.
