Zbrush Texture Master

I saw nice works (please see the attached links) at Deep Paint 3D website.

Is it possible to get the similar results using Zbrush Texture master ?

Would you give a tutorial ?

Well, to me it looks like that person used photographs for the textures. If that’s the case then yes you can do this with Texture Master. Do a search on the site, and look in the quicklinks in the top right corner of this page.

Here is a one:

I have ZBrush and Deep Paint 3D.

ZBrush is best at polygonal modelling has good geomoetry with texture map. Carrara is very poor at creating texture map for its own 3d models. ZBrush does not have painting tools made for 3D. Texture Master is okay a good addition for projector effect to capture on 3D skinning into texture map.

Deep Paint 3D is made to paint on 3D Models. It has directional brushstroke with alpha which that ZBrush does not have. Pixologic might will implement it in next version. (fingers crossed)

Forgot to add one more

Deep Paint 3D does not support displacement map but you can always use bump as displacement map for realistic 3d perspective.

ZBrush will implement displacement map in real-time. We all are waiting for it!!

ZBrush’s future Displacement Map

Hi ZGplay

Please remember that you are looking at a L O T more than the texture put onto the mesh by Deep paint. There’s the materials and lighting and then the ray-tracing render-engine. The images in your links were not finished and rendered in Deep Paint They would of been worked on for commercial purposes maybe for weeks to look perfect!

I’d put my money on the fact that those are photographs on the models, - which ZBrush can do as well!

The link above in wchamlet post is pre-Texture Master. :stuck_out_tongue: Might be a bit confusing!

I know Glenn Southern attempted somthing like these pictures ages ago on a poser model, but I’m having trouble finding the picture!

From the pages of Glenn Southern’s galleries you’ll find some good stuff.

Thank you very much for your replies. Your links are very helpful.
Deep Paint 3D seems very nice. But, I have Zbrush, and am not buying Deep Paint 3D in near future.
I have to learn how I can make nice textures using Zbrush.

It wouldn’t surprise me if those pictures are renders from Poser. Catharina does a lot of texturing in DP3D but usually renders the finished textures in Poser.

Here is Catharina Harders web site.
have fun  http://www.mec4d.com/index2.html
