well i am having a major issue … after i start zbrush and then press the load tool button i get a “bing” sound but cant see any window open and zbrush crashes tried it again and again …
anyone know why? and how to solve this?
Which version of ZBrush is it? Which OS are you running? Could you show an unedited screen shot of the entire ZBrush interface when the problem occurs?
i have just done a clean install of zb and this has solved the crash… however i had to start from scratch again after 4 years of alphas/ materials/ etc etc collected… damm annoying…
You should have backups. If not you learn the hard way that backups can save a lot of time and effort. Before reinstalling anything get a backup copy. If you have/had backups of your alphas and other downloads you could transfer them over to the fresh install easily.
yeah i learnt that many years ago… its just a piece of mind thing when reinstalling any software is to clean EVERYTHING out associated with such software…
but thanks anyway for your advice…
on a side note i was wondering if different hrz settings on gaming mice would slow down screen redraw in ZB…
