Zbrush Spotlight question?

Hello,

I am a complete beginner in Zbrush, and I’ve run into a bit of a problem. When I go to polypaint in Spotlight, the colour of the texture I have is not polypainted, but instead there are several different colours. For example, right now I’m modelling Baymax from Big Hero 6, and I can’t seem to make only his eyes polypainted. There are orange and purple segments on his head and I have no idea where they came from. My material is white, and whenever I try to paint the texture a button under the polypainting tab has colourize on as well as grid. They won’t turn off. Could someone help?

The Tool>Polypaint>Colorize button on is OK, that means your polypaint will show up, providing you don’t have a texture map on the model (in the Tool>Texture Map sub-palette).

It would help if you showed a screenshot of your whole ZBrush interface. That might help us see what’s going wrong.

For polypaint to work OK your model needs to have quite a lot of polygons (at least a million). Also, if you have any 3D Layers they can sometimes work badly with polypaint.
