any advice would be greatly appreciated

thank you for reading

i turned off adapt in the zremeshing section and i am getting a result but still not clean

Hello!

Are you trying to fuse all this geometry together? The image at the top that shows what I presume to be your Live Boolean result does not appear to be completely fused in every location, maybe? If so, for instance if the geometry is only intersecting, ZRemesher won’t weld it. You must do this prior to ZRemeshing.

Otherwise, there is no automatic solution to get perfect low poly hard edge topology with Zremesher. In some cases, the geometry will simply have to be manually topologized. Be sure to read the documentation thoroughly. However, here are some tips to improve your results:

  • Increase the Zremesher target polygon count to give it more polygons to work with, especially if you see results in a zremesh where the geometry is stretching or collapsing.

  • Switch on detect edges

  • Make certain that every major plane or surface separated from another by a hard edge is a separate polygroup, and use the “Keep Groups” feature.

Remember, if the resulting mesh is low poly, you will still needcreasing to keep the edges hard when subdividing. This can be quickly established if you have polygrouped everything cleanly with the “Crease PG” function in the menu linked above.

Thank you for reply

i may seem i have to manually retopologize it.

as it seems even with your advice taken into acount it seems i cannot get clean topology
