ZBrush quicksaves after every brush stroke

Hi, im having an issue with ZBrush where every time i make a brush stroke ZBrush quicksaves my file. When working on high poly models this can lead to a large loading time with a “Saving File In Progress” window between each brush stroke followed by “Quicksave Completed successfully in ___ seconds” message at the top left

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, initializing ZBrush and trying to match my preferences to a machine with ZBrush running perfectly all to no avail

I can provide screenshots of my preferences and things if needed

Check your Preferences >> QuickSave settings.

Another possibility is if you have some sort of other software that is running in the background and keeps trying to become the focus. For example, if you have a recently updated installation of Windows 10 it’s possible that the Notifications feature is being hyperactive, which can also cause the Task Bar to be on top of ZBrush. What happens in that situation is that Notifications keep becoming the focus application, which in turn causes ZBrush to auto-save your work. You can turn notifications off in the Home Page settings.

Thanks for your quick response. I have initialized my ZBrush Preferences and checked the QuickSave options and changing those doesn’t seem to resolve the issue. I have also restarted the computer and made sure nothing but ZBrush is open and again, the same problem still occurs
