Zbrush Professional Tips plus Techniques

Received an email from Pixologic announcing the availability of a new book by an actual
Zbrush person …Paul Gaboury (with an introduction by some guy named Rick Baker??).
Anyway wanted to show support and bought it from Amazon.com.
Arrived today and can safely say it will be a long night.
Went looking for a thread to express my high regard for the book and cannot find one.

Now there is.

Zbrush Professional Tips + Techniques
by Paul Gaboury.
Foreword by Rick Baker
published by Sybex ( Wiley).
List price is 49.99( but you can do much better at Amazon.)

As a side note the book even smells nice ( sort of textbookish)

Does anyone know if the Ibooks version comes with the Companion DVD or is only included for the paperback?

Book is softcover and comes with a dvd.

got it.

it’s freakin’ great. love these kinda books that don’t re-iterate the manual but give little known tips and tricks.

fantastic.

jin

Don’t forget the smell.

For the electronic version you can download the material from the publishers website - see the copyright blurb at the beginning of the book.

Thanks Marcus I glazed right over it.

Got mine yesterday, along with “Zbrush Creature Design” by Scott Spencer.

Paul’s book is a must have for every Zbrush user regardless of industry. Scott’s book is great for creature sculptors and for folks like me who use Zbrush with Photoshop for more painterly purposes.

Unfortunately Wiley doesn’t seems to even know this book.
The ISBN doesnt work, the title doesnt work the name of the autor doesn’t work
Its really frustrating

I’m downloading now. I used the first of the electronic ISBNs listed but I don’t suppose it matters which one. Perhaps when you tried they hadn’t got around to doing it.
