Zbrush POPUP Custom Panel

Hi,

Is there any way we can create a custom popup menu like the attached mockup image?
e.g. we press spacebar and get the popup options for brush size, intensity, etc.
It would be extremely handy if I can set a shortcut to call a custom popup as per the attached image shows.

Thank you.

You can’t create a pop-up menu exactly like that. What you could do is create a custom menu and then assign a hotkey to the menu. Pressing the hotkey would then make the menu pop up at the cursor position.

You can read about creating a custom menu here:
http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/customizing-zbrush/interface-layout/custom-interface/

Note that some interface elements, especially some of those in the Tool palette, can’t be part of a custom menu or custom interface.

Hi Marcus,

Thank you for your reply. I have the custom menu that I’ve been using for a while, but I have been adding more tools in the panel and is quite becoming too long. Though I could assign two hotkeys for two separated panels, I was hoping we could make something as the previous attached image. That would give more flexibility. I hope pixologic would give us that option in the future.
Thank you again.

Hi and Happy New Year. I did a bunch to my UI, some of it may be useful. Files linked to below my post.

Hi Doug Jones,

Thank you and appreciated for sharing your panel. However, what I’m after is to create a panel where we can stack it side by side as the first image shows, instead of having a very long panel. The goal is to have 1 hotkey but showing different panels side by side. I think this would increase user experience and faster workflow.
1st column panel having loops funtions, 2nd column Zremesher, 3rd colum colors. This is just a suggestion.
