ZBrush OSX - won't launch

Hello! When attempting to launch ZBrush for OSX, I get a message that says “The application ZBrushOSX has unexpectedly quit. The system and othr applications have not been affected.”

I have tried downloading again in case the file was corrupted, with the same results. I’m using an iMac DV, 750 meg ram.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Try to close all (all yes) other applications before launching ZBrush
Hope this help

This just started happening to me also. I checked the preferences > displays and found the the colors were set to thousands instead of millions (my son was playing a video game just before I used the computer). Resetting to millions cleared up the problem for me.

If you continue to have difficulties, please send an email to me at [email protected] . I will need you to include your system information.

Thank you!

Thank you all! I tried quitting other applications and resetting my monitor to millions of colors and now I can launch ZBrush without a problem. I suspect it is the “millions of colors” setting that is necessary - I discovered that my monitor had been reset by a game and I had forgotten about it.
