Zbrush noob Question about Dynamesh

Hello. I am studying zbrush with a book that provides video instructions, at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTzC4Qzr2KQ

If you look at 1:23~1:28 of that video,

Like below picture, it presses project (reprojected dynamesh) button and also set 224 for resolution then it press dynamesh, as shown in the picture below where yellow circle indicates what it did. Then it presses ‘no’ for when something is popped up. So the outcome is almost same as 3d model before doing this process in the video.

Question1) Well, shortly after pressing dynamesh and no button, the 3d model becomes like below, and then come back to its original look. How can I do this? the book and video doesn’t teach me such things.

Below image is my own 3d model that I’ve created by following that video instruction…

If I do same as above process, my object becomes like below…

Question2) In the instruction video, the object has not become like this when dynamesh is pressed from the menu. But Why mine become like this that has a bunch of rectangles?

Thank you very much if you can help me!

Your objects have different scales.
Yours is smaller.
Dynamesh is very dependent on scale.
Increase your dynamesh resolution or scale up your mesh.
