Zbrush/MultiMap Exporter Destroying UVs

Hi, this assignment is for a class and the prof hasn’t responded to my emails and it’s due tomorrow - of course.
My uvs are perfectly fine in Maya. I go and paint in zbrush and it’s fine there too. Except when I do the multi-map exporter I get lovely stripes and artifacts that destroy how it looks in Maya.
Would very much appreciate the help - any ideas or things to try. It’s probably something really easy and stupid but I don’t know what to do.

This may not be the same issue, but I’ve had a similar problem if a single UV is outside of the 0-1 UV space. Double check in maya to see if there’s stray points outside of the UV square

The uvs are not outside of each uv tile. I just double checked.

But they go to the border. If UVs are on the border then ZBrush will produce errors like that. Shrink your UVs down a tiny bit and all will be well.

That’s the ticket. Thanks for your help. I will have to inform my prof that his teaching of uv space is incorrect.
