Hello Pixologic.
Why does Zbrush randomly forget my custom menus when being re-started?
If ZBrush crashes, or sometimes even closed normally ----> it loads back up remembering all of my custom interface but NOT my custom menus. They are poof gone. Usually is fine, but sometimes POOF gone.
So I have to hit ‘restore custom’ to force it to bring my menus back in.
OR I have to load it manually locating my .cfg file.
But now the unthinkable has happened and in an late night of work, after ZBrush dropped all three of my custom menus ’ again ’ , I did not ‘see’ that it had done that. I was in just to tweak my default import export settings, so I hit ’ save to cfg ’ and ‘store custom config’.
To my HORROR, I look up and ZBrush had quietly not loaded my three custom menus, so now I have saved OVER my only .cfg file with all three of my long, detailed, took forever to make custom menus GONE.
Pixologic, please tell your programmers to fix this. This is bull _____ . To have an artist, have their custom menus randomly disappear. To have this happen where you could lose so much custom menu work is ridiculous.

I’ll add this happens , the dropped menus, on my work computer as well. FIX PLEASE.
I’ll be trying to load an ancient 6 month old config menu, print screen my old menus, then I’ll load my most current, then MANUALLY spend 30 minutes recreating my menus, including one menu that I just made this week so will try to remember what I had in there.
