ZBrush interface font too small

Is there any way to make the Zbrush interface font WAY bigger? I run at a high screen resolution, so the text is too small to see easily. It’s a real headache. I wish I could just have it reflect my desktop settings so it looked like my other programs - light grey with large black text. I tried changing the interface to light grey with dark text, which helped a little. I saved it as a custom interface, but upon next startup, or reloading that config, the background remains light grey but the text has turned to white. Apparently black text isn’t sticky in a custom Z interface.

Help will be much appreciated.

If you want to save you color settings you have to make a startup document, this is covered in the ZBrush 2 Practical Guide :slight_smile:

Thanks. I overlooked that. But, a much bigger help would be to make the font bigger. It’s practically microscopic! Is there any way? The only other program that troubles me similarly is Lightwave. You can change its font size, but it corrupts the display.

try holding down the ctrl key and hit the plus sign key. sometimes that makes the fonts bigger. i know that works in browsers…

Eh. No luck.

I see hints on the upcoming features page that the next version may allow some kind of adjustment to make things easier to see on megapixel displays. I hope so! The reason I can’t run at a low screen res is that when I work on video in VEGAS, especially hi-def, there’s no room for the preview window and all the necessary control windows at the same time. I don’t have the desk space for two monitors right now. Switching res is a no-go because it messes things up every time I switch back and forth. Windows are sized wrong, dialogs appear off-screen, etc.

Thanks, but no luck with the control key either.

I know I’m not the first person to say this, but it’s a shame such a wonderful, powerful program such as Z-Brush has such a deliberately non-standard, painfully distracting, hard-to-see interface wrapped around it. Bottom line, I use Z-Brush anyway, but sheezus, why make it so difficult and “different”?

is there a way to change to font size of the program layout in zrbush 3 ?

On my new display 1920 x 1200 i can hardly see anything due to font size and color layout.

please how do i change primary the font size
