Hi, I’m using GoZ for Photoshop CC and I am having a few problems I hope someone can please help me.
Can’t Find Setting for UV Map in Photoshop CC
-
I want to view my UV map in Photoshop. The tutorial said to select: (3D > Create UV Overlay > Wireframe) and it will create the flattened UV map on it’s own layer. I am using Photoshop CC but I don’t see “Create UV Overlay” anywhere in the 3D menu.

When GoZ opens in photoshop my model opens up backwards and I’m not sure why. Also, when I rotate the model to the front the lighting is so dark I can’t see it to paint on it. I would have thought GoZ would have opened up the model with a more neutral lighting to allow for better painting. In the tutorial (see image below) the model has a white background in Photoshop. The tutorial didn’t mention the model opens up on a dark background. Can someone please tell me how I get a white background like in the tutorial and why my model opens up backwards in photoshop. Thanks.

I want to create a realistic dirt texture for my character. Do most people still paint/apply textures to their models in Photoshop on a layer above a flattened UV map or is there a better “free” way to do this. I would appreciate anyone’s workflow or tips on this. Thanks.
