I’m new here. I have some problem with ZBrush custom UI: sometimes when I start the software, he forgot my custom UI, in particular, disappear my custom menu. I must go in prefer and select “restore custom UI”, so they are back, there is a reason for this?
Zbrush, usually during work, “forgot” my brushes hotkeys (all the other hotkeys work correctly), I mapped some brushes using the ALT key, so, the standard brush is on ALT+S, Move Brush is on ALT+W. He forgot only these hotkeys (all the key with ALT) but not the one with ALT+**** in an example, I mapped move elastic on ALT+SHIFT+W). The only way to restore the hotkeys is to assign again or restart the software. Pretty annoying.
I used ZBrush a lot into the studio where I used to work, now I’m freelance, so have my personal copy and imported my previous setting (custom UI and hotkeys). The previous setting was from Zbrush 4 R7, so, no LiveBoolean button, how can I add to my actual custom UI setting the LiveBoolean button without redone all from scratch?
In this last release, R8, like the initial setup, every brush has the size set to Dynamic by default, I don’t like, and prefer working without the dynamic size and activate it when I really need (like when I use IMM curve brushes), how can I do?
Last question, every time I start Zbrush the working canvas area is shrinking and does not cover all the available space, to solve the problem must press “Init Zbrush”, so after press yes on dialogue tab, Zbrush resize the work area covering all the space available. Again, any solution?
