Hi,
I have just started using /learning Zbrush
however i cant use my simple brush tool,
If i do a simple draw,it just creates rectangles.
Any help from anyone would be appreciated.i have attached screenshot on how it looks like

You need to select an Alpha for the brush.
All brushes are composed of multiple elements that you combine to get the effect you want. The Tool is where you choose how to add pixols to the canvas. You then use Material, Alpha, Color and/or Texture to modify it, along with Stroke type.
And it looks like you’re still on R7, there’s been an update or more since
