ZBrush fails to start

Hello,
I downloaded the trial version. installation seemed to go through without a hitch, but when I try to start Zbrush I just get a floppy disk like icon for a few seconds and then nothing. I tried rebooting, reinstalling as administrator and starting the app as administartor. Nothing seems to help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
