all the pictures I post is downscaling to 1000x. this was for the sculpt-off which it required 1500x

That is the sizing for the thumbnail image that is reduced so the thread can display the entire image.
Once uploaded, if you click on the image in your post and keep clicking on it until the image is displaying at the original size–which may be larger than the forum formatting can display or that can fit on the screen, depending on your screen resolution settings–you can download that image at the original size.
