Zbrush and Windows XP64

Does anyone know if Zbrush will work under XP64? I have installed it, but it crashes upon startup

Only works under windows xp 32-bit at the moment

Not entirely true. If your computer has 2GB of RAM or less, then you can use Windows 2000 Compatibility Mode. Right-click on the ZBrush icon and choose Properties. There you’ll be able to set the compatibility.

Unfortunately, that mode doesn’t seem to work right if the system has more than 2GB of RAM. Most likely because Windows 2000 itself couldn’t recognize more than that.

ZBrush 2.5 will support 64-bit operating systems and LOTS of RAM. It will also be a free upgrade for all of our customers when it’s released.

Thanks for the replies guys. ZB tech support also confirmed that the current iteration of ZB will work only on a XP64 PC with 2GB or less (not my 4GB  ). Lucky I kept one of my high-powered 23bit machines laying around! 2.5 cant get here soon enough! I’ll even beta test the thing!!
