Zbrush and Sculptris compatibility with HP Sprout

Hello I just saw a commercial for the new HP Sprout. It is a new pc that uses a projector instead of a tablet and it has a touch screen. I was wondering if zbrush would be compatible? It seems that this pc would work wonderful for those “hands on” people.

Thanks in advance for your input.

It’s probably too soon after the announcement for any really useful info to come our way. I like the general idea of it all the same.

Zbrush could be compatible if they implement multiple monitor support, like Photoshop does. I really wish Zbrush would do multiple monitor as it would be very useful.

The projected images on the desk from the HP Sprout are just a secondary monitor along with some customized programming for input, e.g., buttons, keyboards.

As for the Sprout itself it has some limitations. Personally I think a Cintiq with touch control is much more useful for an artist. For a general user I think it’s a cool idea.

that’s a good point MentalFrog. It doesn’t seem like HP is really interested implementing the Sprout towards the high end graphics industry. It could be great if they did -but all the promo video’s showcase HP own cheezy apps instead of real software. Mass-marketing drives the cart again.
