I’m absolute beginner at ZBrush and want to start learn it so this is the question:
what kind of graphics tablet is good enough for ZBrush?
I’ve found WACOM Intuos Medium Pro and it looks good but I’m not sure it have all the necessary keys or other features (about which I don’t know for now) that should be useful in ZBrush.
Hi Tanamu,
myself and many here are use Wacom tablets, they work very well.
Hey,
I’ve used Wacom, but at the moment I’ve got a Trust/Genius tablet (different brands, but identical); some might have more of an idea of the differences, but for Zbrush I’ve not noticed any… and they’re much cheaper.
Cheers,
Jim
Thank you very much for answers.
I’ve decided to buy wacom at last:)
Hey there Tanamu,
I’m pretty new to zbrush, I’ve used Sculptris and 3dCoat for the last few years . I just use a Wacom Bamboo. It seems more than adequate for my uses and seems just fine for zbrush. ( Although it does have a nasty habit of not “starting” occasionly! But I have figured out how to make it start!) So maybe you do not need to spend too much cash to get going! ( ignore this advice if you a rich!! )
If money is a concern, I suggest get an alternative to the Wacom. I don’t own one but lots of good reviews and it costs a fraction of what the Wacom costs.
