ZBrush adds "0" to each object's name during fbx import

Hi there,

Is it by design or there is something wrong with settings?
All the meshes imported to ZBrush have added “0” at the end of their names.
That is extra work and takes to remember to remove it.

Cheers,
DS

HI @DigitalShamans , its hard to say with almost no information about how you proceed to export your FBX file before you import them in ZBrush.

So if you can tell us more, about the software you used to export in FBX
but also the FBX version, if you can provide and model as example, so we can try to reproduce the issue you encountering etc… all that would help a lot.

You can also contact the Support Center and Start a conversation and explain the issue with some details on your process.

Hope it helps,
Nicolas

Hi FacelessMindz,

Thanks for the reply.

Your request made me dug deeper and I found out that if ZBrush has checked “Import Mats as SubTools”, then it adds “0” at the end.
Actually it makes sense, unless there is only one material per object.

ZBrush adds “0” anyway when importing Mats as SubTools.

Cheers!
