Zbrush 4R7 won't start up

I’ve had Zbrush installed and it was working fine. Now when I try to launch it, I get messages like this: Unable to open file: !:EXECUTABLE_PATH=/APPLICATIONS/ZBRUSHOSX 4R7/ZResources/Images/OpenFileZLogo2. Pressing OK goes to the next file it can’t open.

I’m running on a mac using el capitan, which could be the source of the problem. I’ve tried reinstalling with the same result.

Any ideas of what to try?

Same issue here. I’m sure it’s run okay previously in El Cap, but assuming the last update to the OS killed it.
So no help, but I feel the pain…
