okay i have a really weird problem… it seems like if i crash - or sometimes just by by restarting Zbrush, it deactivates my license.
I’ve activated my new Zbrush 3 times now… And my system admin at work are getting pretty tired of me

Try deleting (or just renaming) your CustomUserInterface4R2.cfg file, found in the ZStartup folder. It’s possible that there’s a setting in it that’s giving ZBrush fits.
I’m running into the same problem; this is the fourth time I’ve had to reactivate my license after closing zbrush (the second time today). I don’t appear to have any file named customUserInterface4R2.cfg in my /zstartup folder.
In that case my recommendation would be to reinstall ZBrush from scratch. If you submit a Support ticket you can have a fresh download link sent to you. This will install 4R2b directly – no update necessary.
Im having this problem also and now its telling me that I am already activated on the web, but ZBrush still wants to activate…
And I cant run it at all now…
EEEP!!!
Also I dont have that file either…
Ok… to make maters weirder I rebooted and it started up normally… I’m confused!
Make it play nice!
GRIN!
I crashed and the reactivation thing is now back… scratch the reboot fix…
EDIT:
I got it reactivated again, this is sort of frighting…
Also here is a screenshot, where the red arrow is when it came up after rebooting there were four dots, like bullets in a bulleted list but horizontal and in [] 's.
As you can see now it looks right but I dont dare do anything cause if I crash I will have to go through the whole thing again
For some reason and I have no idea what this has stopped happening…
If you continue to have trouble, please do what I told cryrid to do.
Thanks!
I will.
Thanks Aurick!
