Zbrush 4R2 question: booleans between two subtools?

Hi ZBrush experts! I need your help!
My question is simple: I have two subtools (both are dynameshes), one is partially inside the other, and I would like to make a boolean subtraction operation between this two objects, in order to have one object with a perfect internal shape of the other (I hope my explanation is clear).
Basically the same as the “Insert Mesh” funcion, but between my two subtools. How can I do that?

Thanks!

I’m a newbie not a master but… try the insert brush with a clone of the subtool you want to “operate” on the other. Cloning the subtool should make it avaliable for insert?
Cheers

thx for ur suggestion usurpator, actually I tried that and it kinda works, the only problem is that when you insert the new brush you have to manually re-scale and align it in place… it can be done but it’s a bit laborious.
I was wondering if there was a simpler way to do it, just from the tool palette.

Hello again Gaijin Sama… sorry my idea is not the solution, I’m going to watch this thread as I hope there is a solution, it would be so convenient indeed.

I was thinking the same lastly…hope someone with good zbrush knowledge can answer this!!

Hate to bring up a dead thread, but also hate to start a new one if the question has already been asked. I was wondering the same thing, has anyone found a solution. I was able to do this with remesh but the results were horrendous, very weird surface distortion, which sound like it may be a common problem with remesh.
